Pest Control in Malvern Hills by Local Experts

Ants spread fast, contaminating food areas and causing structural damage as they nest. PGM locate and treat nests directly using gels and bait and implement proofing barriers to prevent reinfestation.

Pigeons, gulls and other birds can roost beneath solar panels and on buildings, causing fouling, nesting, blocked gutters and property damage. PGM install bird spikes, netting and solar panel proofing, with specialist cleaning to remove bird fouling and debris.

Carpet moth larvae feed on wool, clothing, carpets and natural fabrics, leaving holes and causing costly damage. PGM experts use targeted chemical treatments to eliminate infestations while protecting your carpets, clothes and soft furnishings.

Fleas are blood-feeding insects that live on animals and bite humans. They can survive in carpets, soft furnishings and hidden areas, making infestations difficult to eliminate. PGM treats adult fleas and eggs or larvae with insecticides, with specialist fumigation available for whole-property treatment.

Hornets are large, predatory wasps that can become aggressive when their nest is disturbed. Nests can be found high in trees, roof spaces and wall cavities. PGM uses high-reach specialist equipment to safely treat nests at virtually any height, without the need for ladders or access equipment.

Unfortunately, humane dispatch is the only appropriate control method. For this reason, people are usually advised to tolerate moles where possible, and only proceed with humane dispatch when absolutely necessary

Preventing pests is often easier than dealing with an established infestation. PGM identifies potential entry points and attractants, then uses proofing, monitoring and practical preventative measures to help keep pests out.

Silverfish thrive in damp, humid areas and can damage books, wallpaper, fabrics and stored paper goods. PGM uses targeted insecticide treatments to eliminate silverfish and address areas where they are hiding and breeding.

Woodworm larvae can cause extensive damage as they tunnel through timber, weakening roof timbers, floors and structural wood. PGM are specialists in woodworm and timber preservation, providing professional timber surveys, identifying active infestations and using professional timber treatments to eradicate wood-boring insects and protect the integrity of the timber.

Bee nest relocation is the safest, most ethical way to handle an unwanted bee presence, prioritising live removal over eradication. Because bees are vital pollinators, DIY insecticide sprays are highly discouraged.

Bird mites are tiny, nasty, aggressive little insects that live off the blood of chicks being reared in nests. PGM utilises an integrated approach (IPM) focusing on removing nesting material, treating with insecticides like permethrin or deltamethrin, and sanitising areas with disinfectants.

Cluster flies are outdoor flies that enter buildings in autumn to hibernate, often clustering in lofts and walls. They’re harmless but a nuisance. PGM treat them with residual insecticides at entry points, space sprays in lofts, and advise on sealing gaps to prevent re-entry.

Flies carry disease and threaten food safety. From fruit flies to house flies, PGM uses ULV fogging and spraying, installs electric fly killers, screens and traps, alongside specialist fly control methods.

Not sure what insect you’re dealing with? Correct identification is the first step to effective pest control. PGM can identify insects from their appearance, behaviour and signs of activity, helping determine the right treatment and prevent unnecessary pesticide use.

All moths, including Indian Meal Moths, Grain Moths, Flour Moths (Pantry Moths) and Clothing Moths, love to live in dark and humid places where nobody disturbs them for long periods. This gives them the time and freedom to destroy our clothes and food.

Pest waste removal involves safely clearing droppings, nests, carcasses, and contaminated materials left by pests like rodents, birds, or insects. These wastes can carry diseases and cause odours. PGM are an environment agency registered waste carrier and dispose of pest waste safely.

Squirrels can enter lofts and roof spaces, where they gnaw wiring, damage insulation and build nests. PGM uses humane squirrel control methods, followed by proofing and advising on property repairs to prevent re-entry.

Bed bugs are smal, persistent, and distressing. Our bed bug treatments include heat and steam application, supported by carefully selected chemical or natural insecticides.

Carpet beetles feed on natural fabrics, causing costly damage to carpets, rugs and soft furnishings. PGM experts use targeted heat and chemical treatments to eliminate infestations while protecting your home and belongings.

Known carriers of harmful bacteria, cockroaches multiply quickly and hide in hard-to-reach places. PGM treatments include targeted gel baits, insecticide sprays and fogging.

PGM believes effective pest control shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. We choose targeted treatments, non-toxic alternatives and wildlife-friendly methods wherever possible, using pesticides only when needed. PGM is redefining the pest control industry — Make Pest Control Green Again.

Pest infestations can leave loft insulation contaminated with urine, faeces, nesting materials and harmful bacteria. PGM safely removes and disposes of contaminated insulation, then cleans and disinfects affected areas using specialist biocide treatments to restore a hygienic loft space.

Mice can squeeze through tiny gaps and quickly establish nests indoors, contaminating food and surfaces with urine and droppings. PGM uses targeted traps, monitoring and rodent-proofing to eliminate infestations and prevent mice getting back in.

Rats can spread disease, contaminate food and cause serious damage by gnawing through materials. PGM uses targeted rodent treatments, trapping and proofing, including specialist rat drain blockers to stop access through drainage systems. All rodent control follows the CRRU Code of Best Practice.

Wasps can build nests in roof spaces, wall cavities, lofts and gardens, creating a painful sting risk when disturbed. PGM offers rapid-response wasp nest removal, using high-tech equipment and targeted insecticide treatments to safely reach and eliminate nests, even in difficult-to-access areas.
