Commercial Pest Control – what your business can expect

We will carry out a free site survey to discuss your pest control requirements. The cost of the service, together with any additional services, will be set out in a separate contract for services (“Quote”).

We will provide you with a pest control management manual which sets out:

The history of PGM’s visits to your site;
Copies of the reports we will provide you with at each visit;
A copy of your site plan and the monitoring and control points;

Reference material and other important information, which includes the availability of our:

Professional qualifications.
Membership of professional bodies.
Our Terms of Business.
Public Liability and Products Insurance.
Material hazards information.
Generic Risk Assessments.

We will ask you to provide a plan of your site or we may arrange to visit your site to prepare a plan.

For rodent control, bait boxes may be provided, the number being dependent on the size and nature of your site and the existing pest activity. All equipment remains the property of PGM & SON Pest Control unless we agree in advance to assign ownership to you.

We carry out routine inspections of your site to identify pest activity and / or issues and risks likely to attract or influence pests. Where the entire site is covered by your contract for services, please note that monitoring is focussed on higher risk areas for your peace of mind.

Treatments are carried out where infestations are identified, in line with your contract for services.

Routine visits will normally be scheduled at regular intervals, e.g. monthly and will consist of inspecting the site, checking bait stations and replacing bait, or re-setting traps as required. We offer flexible visits to suit your business. For example, early mornings, weekends and out of hours.

If you have any problems in between routine visits, please call us so that we can provide guidance.

A call out service is also available. This may be subject to an additional charge, depending on our agreement with you.
